This is the new village site.  Note massive erosion factor of this huge earthwork, all displaced
dirt was pushed down below each cut, leaving a massive overburden.

This slope is so steep that even the Akha say it will not hold, upper dirt will plummet off into
back walls of small housing.  Tons of it.  Here the soil becomes very heavy before it finally
jumps down the hill, whole roads going, not a gradual process when it happens.
